Our Flight Physiology Course is recognized by the State of Florida, Department of Health, Bureau of EMS and conducted every three months at our airport facility.
During the two day course the material covered includes:
Aircraft safety and orientation – fixed wing and rotary
Patient assessment, preparation and care for flight
Physiological effects on the human body with changes in altitude
The effects of altitude on medical conditions
Gas Laws
Pressurization – Depressurization
Supplemental oxygen requirements
16 Continuing Education Units are provided at the completion of the course.
