All,

Greetings from CT. Just an update for you on my Dad. Dad made it though Hurricane Sandy (our beach areas were decimated) and into the winter months before he needed bypass surgery at Bridgeport Hospital here in CT. He was in the ICU for storm NEMO thank God (4 feet of snow all at once, at work 36 hours straight and snowed out of my house for 2 days). He had the beating heart procedure with a triple bypass and he has done well with only a minor bout with pleurisy. He continues to recover not nearly as fast as he thought. He has some residual CHF and shortness of breath and frequently gets tired. He has to contend with the damage done from the 2003 LAD heart attack. This heart attack in 2012 would have been moderate for most people all by itself. It was for this reason, his life was truly on the line when you got to him.

He is alive because of you guys. He can be grumpy all he wants!

He continues to be followed at Dr. Levy’s suggestion, by Dr. Zarich who is the Chairman of Cardiology here at Bridgeport Hospital. Like Dr. Levy (who put the fear of ‘Bajeezus’ into Dad about taking his medicine and being compliant), “Dr. Z” actually has time to spend with his patients because he is the boss and resides in the hospital. This was a good call by Dr. Levy (The Hammer of Thor).

Please continue your efforts to send us a picture of “our crew” with the plane?

My mom is carrying on about that.

You are always in our thoughts and prayers guys.

Continue to be safe and take care of yourselves and YOUR families.

Michael Rickard, BS, PM-Lic.

April 29, 2013

Hi Inger-Lisa,

Just wanted to let you know that at last my husband Tom and I are back home in Scotland. We arrived back on Wednesday evening the 24th tired and very weary after a 28 hour travelling day.

Our experience with the insurers was fraught with difficulties, and at one point they had closed the case, and only after I got our daughter in Scotland to phone them in Chicago did they begin to get their act together. However, I will formally complain AFTER we get the settlement of our claim!!

We would like once more to extend our thanks and appreciation for all your help, advice, motivation and compassion, which was of tremendous help to me in particular. Knowing there was someone out there who cared and communicated regularly, was like having an angel on my shoulder at all times.

You can be sure that your praises have been sung to all who would listen, and I for one will never forget the blessing of having your help at this time.

We enjoyed our visit to Pearl Harbour, it was quite a somber yet fascinating visit. The many exhibits were well done, and it brought home to all what a price was paid for freedom. We also did an island tour, visiting many beautiful bays and country areas, including the Dole Pineapple estate which had been established there many decades ago. Too bad they were too sweet for Tom to taste!! Our time in Honolulu was pleasant, though for the life of me I couldn’t quite get into holiday mode. However, health comes before holidays every time, and God willing there will be other holidays I am sure.

My husband has just come in to tell me that you or someone from your office had telephoned him to ask how he was doing. How wonderful. We are truly overwhelmed with the extent of your care and concern.

Once more my sincere thanks for all your help. We wish you well in the work you continue to do, and if we are ever in Florida, maybe we can meet you sometime – or better still if you ever come to Scotland we would be delighted to have the pleasure of meeting you here.

Best wishes and grateful thanks once more

Eleanor C.

Hello Lisa,

Without your assistance this could not have been possible. Thank-you so much for making our efforts worthwhile. And also we really appreciate these updates. I have been keeping the roommate/best friend onboard updated with Mrs. E.’s progress and she is extremely appreciative. She was practically in a state of shock when she found out she couldn’t travel with her in the medevac.

Cheers,

Hello Lisa –

Mrs. E. is now off the ship – guarded condition, accompanied by a very good physician, so she is in good hands and we pray for the best.
Thank-you SO much for your assistance – you were simply wonderful !! We couldn’t have done it without you. Your expertise, efficiency, understanding, and caring coordinating & expediting the medical evacuation were exemplary.

Dear Trinity,

After calling, my wife, Kay, and I were evacuated from Marsh Harbour, Bahamas on Sunday, March 3 by a crew from your service. We just want to tell you how positive an experience we had with Trinity.

Thomas, who was our initial contact, kept us fully informed about the dispatch of the plane. When the aircraft arrived, Kristen and Brad took charge and made Kay feel so safe and comfortable. Martin flew us through very turbulent conditions to a perfect landing in Fort Lauderdale. The delivery to Jackson North’s ER ended a virtually seamless and carefree (for us!) evolution.

You have a great team in these competent, cheerful folks! A few minutes ago Megan from your office called to inquire about Kay’s progress as a follow up. This kind of concern for your evacuees really reflects the excellent values of your organization. We can’t thank you all enough.

Kay and Sam S.

Hi Lisa -

Francis is now in the ICU at Memorial Regional and is very relieved to be there. After seeing his terrible wounds, I can’t imagine the pain he’s in, but he’s in good hands. I can never thank all of you at Trinity for everything you did. I’ve already recommended you to everyone we reached out to for information on medical transport options. God forbid any of them ever need your excellent services, but I’ve told them to go to Trinity. I’ll keep in touch and, especially, want to thank you, Lisa.

All the best,

First of all, this note is several years late and for that I have no excuse but I do apologize. On 9 March 2009 while on a construction missions trip to Venezuela I fell off a roof and broke both wrists, both feet, my left tibia and right shoulder. Needless to say I was in trouble and needed to get back to the states where I could be treated. You transported me on 11 March from Caracas to Ft. Lauderdale to Colorado Springs.

Thank you!! You were a life saver. I was drugged up but I do remember a physician and nurse (both male) on board who were superb. If they are still working for you, please give them (and the pilots) my thanks and let them know I have recovered nicely. Though I did not walk for over 3 months and was out of work for nearly 11 months, I am back to running and have no physical limitations. I am back flying 747s for United Airlines. I still have your luggage tag on my carry on bag so I think of your help to me whenever I see that tag.

May all of you have many years of productive service. I honestly don’t know where I would be now if Trinity Air Ambulance had not taken me home.

Warmest regards,

T. L.

Good morning –

I just wanted to say thank you to Andy & Lisa, the nurses, the Navajo pilot, and anyone else who was involved in getting our employee, Juan, off of the Bahamian island and returned to the US safely last night. You were all an absolute pleasure to work with and thank you so much for being there in our time of need for your fellow aviation partners .

I spoke with Juan this morning and he is incredibly thankful as well and in great spirits.

Have a great weekend & thanks again!
